Foursquare Store Now Live: Prices from $5 to $20

For fans of the location-based networking site “Foursquare”, they can now look forward to the launch of the new online store. Foursquare, which is available on the internet, mobile and as a game, allows its users to chat with their friends and check out their locations. Points are then awarded on the times you check-in to certain venues.

According to Elizabeth Woyke at Forbes, users have been patiently waiting for the new online store and now it is here, they can look forward to purchasing t-shirts, buttons and stickers all incorporating the logo and badge designs. Prices will range from $5 to $20. It has been reported that visitors have been asked to vote which badge they would like to see on the next t-shirt, badges from “Jetsetter”, “Photogenic”, “Local” or “Swarm”.

Foursquare, which initially started out in 2009 with only 100 worldwide metric areas, has now expanded its user base and in March of this year, changed its checking-in service to worldwide therefore enabling 500,000 user numbers to log on. Currently it is available on iPhone, Android, webOS, Windows Phone 7 and BlackBerry.
