At the end of this month, comedian “Dwayne Perkins” from Comedy Central will be shooting a pilot TV show focusing entirely on the world of social networking. Social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and YouTube are increasing in user numbers daily.
According to Samuel Axon at Mashable, the pilot TV show will be called “Dwaynebook” and is hoped to begin shooting on 29 August. It features the comedian who made a name for himself back in 2003 on Comedy Central. This new show has been compared to talk shows such as “The Soup” and “Tosh.0”. When Mashable reported on this, it is believed that the show will incorporate a “sexy research assistant” amongst other correspondents.

There are no guarantees that “Dwaynebook” will eventually be aired but fingers crossed it will, as lets face it, social networking sites dominate the lives of millions of users each day, and to have a programme that purely emphasizes on this must be a winner!
