Best Buy executive tweets about Rocketfish tablet
Best Buy, the speciality retailer of consumer electronics is devising a tablet of their own that could resemble Apple’s iPad. In a recent tweet from Best Buy’s executive Robert Stephens, the device if it hits our stores will carry the “Rocketfish” badge that many of its in-house computer surfaces hold.
According to electronista, the design at this present stage is just a prototype but Stephens has commented that it is hoped the future tablet will house an Android 2.2 and will prove to be smaller in size compared to its competitors, the “Apple iPad”. At this early stage, no further details are listed, for example, when the tablet would be shipped or retail costs.

For users and retailers alike, this future news could just be the way forward. Having a new tablet that would cost less and smaller in size the “Rocketfish” may prove to be stiff competition against Apple.
What are your thoughts on the “Rocketfish tablet”? Is it time that we saw a new competitor? Let us know your comments. To read more about this check out electronista
