Motorola Droid 2: Release Date and Specs
Motorola’s top Smartphone is currently the Droid. Running on the Android platform, the phone is one of the iPhone’s greatest competitors. We’ve seen upgrades to the phone such as the Droid X, but so far there hasn’t been any official release date for the sequel, the Droid 2.

Leaked documents have said that the Droid 2 has a 3.7 inch touch screen, running Android 2.1 with MotoBlur. It supposedly has a 750MHz OMAP processor and 8GB of internal storage with an expansion slot for more memory. The phone also has HD video recording from a 5 megapixel camera.
Whilst there is no official details about the phone, there are leaked documents and information all over the internet, and Motorola should give us an official announcement before this all gets out of control. If these documents are to be believed, we only have a week until the phone is released.
What do you think about the Droid 2? Will you be picking this up? Let us know in the comments.
