Kanye West Twitter Followers: Can he keep pace?

Kanye West is certainly a forward thinker and shows that he can make a great business decision, and joining Twitter is proof of this. It was no secret that the rapper had no intention to join the micro-blogging site, but knowing the publicity he can get – he relented.

West become a member on Twitter the same day that he was seen at Facebook HQ, and in just a few short days has amassed over 400,000 followers. However, most of those will now be jealous has Kanye West has decided to follow just one of his followers – @ste_101 – and he has over 3,000 followers.

West has been like a machine and been sending tweets many times a day, but we have to wonder if he can keep up this pace – not only with the amount of tweets, but new followers as well?

He certainly has a long way to go to catch up to Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber, but at least West cannot be accused that his tweets were writing for him – although someone must look over them for him so he does not say the wrong thing.
