JailbreakMe 2.0 Update: iPhone 4 Jailbreak video

The iPhone 4 jailbreak has been a long time coming, but the new JailbreakMe 2.0 update is able to not only run the new fourth-generation iPhone but also the 3GS, 3G and the iPad. Once users had learned that the jailbreak was made available the servers were coming under a lot of strain – in some cases were coming to a complete stop.

Sean Hollister from Engadget had tried, but took him a number of attempts to download JailbreakMe 2.0. Once he finally got the download he then spent a little time with the jailbreak to see what was different and how well it performed.

Hollister did not have success with his, as his iPhone 4 kept crashing Safari; all he had was the Apple logo. So it seems that it can brick your phone, so download at your own risk. However, it looks as though an intern at Engadget managed to get his working fine.

JailbreakMe 2.0 comes with seven new updates; two of those are FaceTime and MMS, which had been missing before. Below is a video so that you can see the new jailbreak in action.

Used Jailbreakme 2.0 and then Ultrasn0w for T-Mobile on my 3GS at 4.0.1. I have cell access, but mobile terminal will open then close immediately, no MMS in messaging window. and most importantly, NO APN settings for cellular network. So I'm WiFi only.
I was able to SSH in via Mac Terminal to change my root password first thing……

Hope plantebeings JB is more successful… Any ideas?
