Things have not been made official yet, but it looks as though the New York Yankees deal with Austin Kearns has been confirmed on Twitter. We will now wait for either the NYY or Cleveland Indians to announce that the move will happen.

Those who broke the news on twitter were Jon Heyman from Sports Illustrated and Ken Rosenthal from Fox Sports, so we have no reason to doubt these often-reliable sources. Jill Seward from NESN explains that we have known about the deal for some time, we were just waiting for the first signs of conformation, and this seems to be it.
