Amazon Releases New Kindle: Price and features
Many of you probably own an e-reader of some sort. It’s a device which is used to read books electronically, using a technology called e-ink. Using the e-ink display, you can get a device which can hold thousands of books and which has a low power display which looks just like ink on paper. Amazon has announced their newest model of their Kindle e-book device.

The new Kindle with Wi-Fi only is $139 whilst the 3G model will sell for $189 and the larger DX model will be $379. I don’t think people really need the 3G model, since most people have a Wi-Fi router at home, and there are hotspots all over the world. The only time I would consider needing the 3G data network would be on holiday, and even then you’d either load up on books before you left or chances are there’s Wi-Fi at the hotel.
Are you interested in the new Kindle model? If you have one, how much do you use it and would you consider upgrading to a new model? Let us know in the comments.
