iPhone 4: Arrival In 17 More Countries

Today Apple announced that on Friday July 30, the new iPhone 4 smartphone will now arrive in 17 more countries. The 16 gigabyte (GB) version will retail for $199 and the 32 (GB) version for $299. The new countries to be announced are as follows: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

According to TechNewsDaily, it is hoped that the problem with the reception antenna and the subsequent free bumpers/cases being issued to users to rectify this will apply to all buyers including those overseas.

Apple have endured bad press in relation to this in recent months along with the delayed release of the new White iPhone 4. On the flipside to this, users are content with the screen quality and it is fair to say the iPhone 4 is still proving popular as 1.7 million units were sold in the first 3 days of availability.
