No Google Nexus Two: OS development focus
When the Google Nexus One was announced we were told that this was going to be the phone that took the fight to Apple’s iPhone – but things did not work out like that. The Android handset has even struggled to compete with other Android OS running smartphones, which is one of the reasons why Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt said that there would be no Nexus Two.
Debbie Tuner from Only Kent had learned from Jamie Pert on Product News that one of the reasons that the idea of a Google Nexus Two is because the company wishes to focus on their OS development. Google knows that they have been making gains in this market; this is thanks to handsets such as the Motorola Droid, HTC Incredible and EVO 4G.
