It’s not secret that Apple has rocked the tablet and electric-book reader market after releasing the iPad, and part of this shake up has created a cheaper Kindle DX. Amazon unveiled a new Kindle DX that features a lower price, which they said was due to “competition”.
The price is 22 percent lower ($379) for the bigger Kindle, which also features free 3G Wireless. The release date for the device is July 7, although you can pre-order today.

What’s your take on this move by Amazon? The Apple iPad has a free Kindle app, although it costs more to start. Read more on this story.
