Hurricane Alex 2010: Pictures Hit Twitter

In the last hour we have heard that Hurricane Alex has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm, but this doesn’t mean its not causing problems for thousands of people still. Social media site, Twitter, has exploded with photos and information from those very people.
From pictures of people showing their rainboots for Hurricane Alex to hunters measuring the pressure in Alex. Twitter shows in real time, how day-to-day lives are being affected. From flooding, Oil being pushed on cleaned beaches, and tornado’s that some refer to as “Affects Of Hurricane Alex”.
