New iPhone 4: Line starts one week before release date

The moment the new Apple iPhone 4 became available to pre-order, people from all around the world were desperately trying to order theirs. The iPhone 4 is becoming so popular, that carriers such as AT&T had to put a halt on their pre-orders because of shortages.

But would you actually line up a week before its release date, just to make sure you get yours? Well that is what one guy called Justin is doing, according to Stan Schroeder at mashable.com. Justin is reportedly camping outside the Apple store in Dallas, so he can be first in line.

That actually means that he will be spending a whole week camping out in the Texas heat, but Justin really doesn’t appear to mind. “Some would say I am crazy, but I say I’m a very determined fan,” Justin said when being interviewed outside the store.

“In fact I might be one of the biggest Apple fans you will actually meet. I have been the first customer for this store since 2008 when the iPhone 3G was released,” Justin went on to say. He then admitted that he normally only camps out overnight, but thought he’d be different this time.

What do you think about him camping out for a whole week?

These people really need to sort their lives out. This just shows how messed up our planet is. We’re all doomed.

He’s not the first a family of ten and a baby did it for the 3G in July 2008 just google it. At least they had company just camp out over night you’ll get it dude. I’m doing that and I’m bringing my iPad :-) movies all night and my girlfriend, can’t beat that….. iPhone 4 wooooooo feels like a six flags ride.

ive been watching him from across the street (working the patio at Chuy's) He's had the fire rescue squad there one day, police come out and harass him at night. Fun to watch every day… I love the iPhone just as much as the next person, but sadly, he couldve started camping yesterday at that Dallas location and still wouldve been first.

These people define the word idiocy. I am a security guard at a location that has an apple store, and actually asked one of customers what the big appeal was about the iphone 4 that made it worth camping out (and looking like a bunch of hobo's with nothing better to do… Not that I said this out loud). His response was "You don't have one", well congrats buddy… You just proved that all you're after is a status symbol. Do you REALLY think that buying the latest, greatest, shiny new gizmo of any brand or company actually makes you cool? What it does do, is make you sound and look shallow, materialistic, and snobbish. Congrats, you proved to me just how much of an ass you are, and that, my friend, is ALL you accomplished with your snide comment. I couldn't say it in uniform, but you are a total douche bag. Here's to all the other people out there with common sense, lives that warrant having something better to do with their time than camp out at stores for status symbols, and who have more brains than money (or who just have a clue as to what responsibility is). I hope your new toy breaks or get stolen, you snot nosed punks!
