NBA Star Facebook Page and Playoff Tickets

Amar’e Stoudemire the Phoenix Suns power forward has used his Facebook page as a group purchasing hub where fans can buy discounted playoff tickets. The huge 27 year old has teamed up with AtCost.com and Razorgator Tickets to sell and promote cheaper tickets to NBA games.
At the moment Stoudemire is selling game 4 of the Lakers vs. Suns playoff match up. The tickets to the huge event are normally priced at $600 a pair in Sections 201 – 205. Each individual ticket is being retailed at $302.81 on the Facebook page but the prices will drop even more and continue to get cheaper until either sell out or the date runs out. Head over to Mashable.Com for the full story.

Stoudemire first launched the discounted tickets at game 3 of the Lakers vs. Suns and it was immediately a sell out. This type of market that he has got himself into is growing in popularity and will no doubt continue to be a success. Another advantage of using this process is that you can complete the whole transaction without leaving the Facebook page, which will give some security to potential buyers.
