Synotes iPhone and iPad Cloud-Based Note Syncing

Have you ever had notes on all your different devices and couldn’t remember which had which, or lost a device and then wished you’d had your notes on your other devices? A handy new note-taking app called Synotes may be just what you need.

Put simply it can wirelessly synch your notes across to your iPad, iPhone, Mac, Web, and iPod touch and you can then access them on any device, say if you want to edit them. A helpful article over on mashable.com likens it to a “roaming note pad,” and makes a comparison with Simplenote.

Synotes is available on the App Store for iPad and iPhone, or on the web and apparently was designed by three high school students in Australia, which is remarkable when you consider that all the apps for it are pleasingly designed and simply look good. The performance is considered to be dependable and the iPhone and iPad apps cost $1.99. As the article points out though Simplenote is free except for premium features.

There appear to be positives but also some negatives to Synotes but on the whole it seems a good cloud-based note-taking option. For full article go to mashable.com. Will you be trying Synotes, or maybe you already use Simplenote and are happy enough with that? We’d like to know what you think?
