New Social Plug-ins from Facebook: World Domination

Facebook’s new social plugins have been a huge success with news that in only one week, more than 50,000 websites have integrated the plugins. It’s all part of Facebook’s new Open Graph initiative and it seems it’s yet another huge hit for them.

The Open Graph API and social plugins were revealed at Facebook’s F8 conference in San Francisco, according to an article at mashable.com, and it’s aimed at personalizing web browsing through Facebook.

The plugins mean that it’s possible to interrelate with other websites without even logging into them but it’s been noted that this has caused some unrest with officialdom. However the success of Facebook continues to grow even more quickly with Open Graph. Website owners have felt compelled to join in from the pure numbers of Facebook fans, over 425 million of them.
