Sprint’s BlackBerry Bold 9650: Release Date and Price

Have you been waiting for the follow-up to the popular BlackBerry Tour? If so, then you will want to see the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9650 that will be on the Sprint network. This new version drops the trackball and replaces it with an improved optical trackpad.

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 also adds Wi-Fi, which some users wanted to see on the BlackBerry Tour. Those of you that owned the Tour know the trackball all too well, and the sticky problems.

Features on the new Bold 9650 include a 3.2-megapixel camera and video recording, Bluetooth, GPS, Tethered modem support, expandable memory, social networking integration, instant messaging, a 2.44-inch 480×360 display, and the much improved trackpad.

Sprint has set the Bold 9650 release date for May 23 with a price of $199.99, which is after a mail-in rebate. You can read the full specifications on blackberry.com, which includes detailed information on the battery life, video recording, maps, and more.

Yes, I really want it available from Verizon. I thought that is where is was going to start. I won't buy it from Sprint.
