Apple iPad UK Release Delayed: Pre-order May 10
For those of you who had assumed that you would be able to get your hands on the Apple iPad in the UK in late April – then we are afraid to inform you that the international release has been delayed by one-month. You will be able to pre-order from May 10.
The reason for this delay is due to strong U.S. sales, which does not seem fair. Apple should have allocated a certain number for U.S. and international units, not give North America preferential treatment over other countries.

According to Reuters more than 500,000 iPad tablets have now been sold, much higher than anticipated. It is for this reason that the maker of the iPhone has exceeded current stock levels.
Apple has said that they will announce a release date and pricing on may 10. This news is great for shareholders, as they know that Apple has produced yet another popular device – like the updates to the MacBook pro range – but try telling that to the consumer in the UK.
Are you angry over this delay?
