China: Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and LinkedIn is not enough

A recent article post on Telegraph.co.uk suggests that almost half of China’s Internet users log on to social networks, the same cannot be same for UK web surfers as only a quarter of them utilize social networks.

During the recent survey it also suggested that social media users in China were much more susceptible to special offers which have appeared on social networking websites.

It is thought that in China around 66 per cent of social networkers would take up offers they saw on social networks, whereas in the UK and the US just 40-42 per cent of social networkers would take up such offers.

It is believed that Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and LinkedIn is not enough for Chinese web surfers, therefore other sites such as QZone, Baidu and 51 are also seeing success in China.
