MySpace HQ: Room for Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace

Mashable were lucky enough to visit MySpace HQ for a conversation with Jason Hirschhorn and Mike Jones – these Co-Presidents are in charge of the day-to-day running of the News Corp.-owned social network site. The two men even share a desk, showing just how close the pair works together.

They certainly need to work closely together – considering how much MySpace is struggling in a tough market. Former CEO Owen Van Natta was only in the job nine months before leaving – will Hirschhorn and Jones stick around longer?

Once Mashable felt comfortable with the two MySpace Co-presidents they thought that they would start to ask some pressing questions such as – if they thought that Facebook and Twitter were competitors or is there room for all three of them. Jones did answer that there is room for all of them.

It is no secret that MySpace lost a whole bunch of users but Twitter has helped them get some returning to the fold – thanks to Twitter and its in integration deal allowing MySpace users to sync their accounts between the both. MySpace has a steep hill to climb the question – will they get to the top.
