Google Android 2.0 Software: New Gesture Search

Google seems to be moving at a fast rate when it comes offering new feature updates for its phone software. The latest features on Google Android 2.0 is the addition of Gesture Search, which the search engine giant are calling “experimental”, we have to wonder if this feature is wanted and will it take off?

The new feature is very simple; when you open it up you draw certain letter to command certain areas of the handset. So if you write an m all contacts, bookmarks and apps starting with an m will open, pretty cool ah. If you want to erase that command, then just draw a line left to right.

Mashable explains that Google said that this new feature would benefit those who are unable to use voice search and thinks that typing the command takes too long. We are certain that Google Android will not do away with the usual voice and type features, but Gesture Search does complement them well.
